Drawn to the Rhythm

Okay, so the original deal was that I was drawing one character in exchange for your awesome photo manip of Scylla. BUT. Prae seemed awfully lonely up on that hill by himself, and I figured that maybe Van came and kept him company for a while. And the two dudes were just cruisin' and happened across a Longdance, and well. Couldn't help spending a few hours checkin' out the pretty ladies.

Sky painted from scratch with a ref pic. The boys were painted reference-free. Which might explain poor Prae's stubby legs. I desperately wanted him to have one of those sharply planed, aerodynamic heads like you see on big awesome thoroughbreds sometimes, but for some reason, whenever I draw a horse without a ref they have big foreheads.
